Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Mia Keady as she joins the Michael Fields team!
Mia Keady is a PhD candidate in Environment and Resources in the Nelson Institute at UW-Madison. She specializes in land management effects on soil carbon cycling and soil microbes, as well as land management incentives, including federal conservation programs. Mia is originally from Nebraska where she earned her degree in Biology from Nebraska Wesleyan. She previously completed her master’s degree in Biology at George Mason University studying Microbial Ecology. In her free time Mia enjoys biking, reading, cooking, and time outdoors.
