We’re excited to welcome Kriss Marion as the new Director of Advancement at Michael Fields Agricultural Institute!

For over a decade, Kriss has worked as a small-scale regenerative farmer in the Driftless Region of Southwest Wisconsin, raising sheep and restoring native habitat while hosting a camping farmstay. Her journey in agriculture began with organic vegetable farming for Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), and today, alongside her husband, son, and grandson, she is transitioning her farm’s production fields into perennial fruits, native pastures, and wildlife-supporting landscapes. As participants in the Conservation Stewardship Program, her family has leveraged EQIP funding to implement managed grazing, drip irrigation, and high tunnel improvements at Circle M Market Farm. Kriss also brings with her her experiences as a Chicago journalist, a rural elected official, a direct-market producer, and the communications lead for Wisconsin Women in Conservation. Please join us in welcoming Kriss Marion—we look forward to the impact she will make in advancing our shared mission for a more sustainable and resilient future!

Really enjoyed reading about Kriss joining the team, especially the part mentioning her background in sustainable agriculture and community-focused work—it gives a clear sense of what she brings to the organization. It made me think about how important it is to blend practical experience with education, something I’ve also noticed while exploring resources like English Assignment Help Online in Australia for academic support. Curious to see how her role evolves and what new initiatives she might help shape moving forward.
