THIS POSITION IS NOW FILLED
Michael Fields Agricultural Institute (MFAI) is pleased to announce a one-year Policy Fellowship (graduate/postdoctoral level) to support our USDA-NIFA funded project, “Fostering Resilience and Ecosystem Services in Landscapes by Integrating Diverse Perennial Circular Systems”.
This project promotes regenerative agriculture and systems-based grazing by identifying and addressing policy barriers to the adoption of Diverse Perennial Circular Systems (DPCS). The Fellow will conduct policy analysis on the incentives and constraints affecting DPCS’s adoption and will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of researchers and stakeholders to develop policy recommendations. This role emphasizes cross-sector collaboration with academic partners (e.g. University of Wisconsin–Madison) and a strong commitment to engaging underserved farming communities in line with the project’s inclusive goals.
Supervised by MFAI Policy Director Chuck Anderas, the Fellow will operate in a hybrid work environment with occasional in-person participation in team meetings, policy briefings, and on-site convenings. Applications now open, with preference given to those received by August 1. Please see the full description:
