Wisconsin Indigenous Students' Soil Health Retreat

Join us on July 22-23, 2024, for the Wisconsin Indigenous Students' Soil Health Retreat (Field Day & Career Roundtable)! The USDA-ARS Dairy Forage Research Center based in Madison, WI and its partners, the Wisconsin Tribal Conservation Advisory Council,  Michael Fields Agricultural Institute, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, are hosting a two-day soil health retreat for Indigenous students enrolled at Tribal Colleges and Universities and other institutions of higher education. Learn about Indigenous farming practices, cover crops, perennial grains, and precision technology. Network with Tribal, federal, university, non-profit and other professionals and learn about the federal job application process and how to build a resume.
