About the event

Join us for an intimate community meal and facilitated discussion around food that is meaningful to you. How can we as a community learn and support the growers and shoppers of our local food production? This event will focus on crops that are staples to you – how do these keystone foods grow in our farms and feed our communities. This event will explore how our local food needs can be different and alike while celebrating all foods that are meaningful to us! Hmoob interpretation will be provided.
Food prepared by Pho 4144 Hot Food & Deli, LaTanya Perine Watson, Just4U, and Venice Williams. There is no cost to attend but please RSVP so we know how much food to prepare: Text or email Stephen at spetro@fondymarket.org; (414) 687-0122 Conversation and meal sponsored by Michael Fields Agricultural Institute and Fondy Farm Project. This gathering is part of the Staple Crops Growers Network project…
