Land Access For Urban Growers

Milwaukee has a vibrant community of urban farmers and gardeners committed to conservation and growing healthy food. However, one common challenge we hear is the difficulty of finding accessible land and funding to support these efforts.

Join MFAI’s Milwaukee Urban Ag Network (MUAN) and American Farmland Trust for an informative event on the land access resources available to urban growers in Milwaukee County. Representatives of Michael Fields Agricultural Institute, American Farmland Trust, UW Extension Milwaukee County, Farm Service Agency (FSA), and Go Farm Connect, will be present to  share information about their programs, answer questions, and provide practical guidance on navigating land access opportunities and support services.
