About the event
"I'm all in on conservation. Now what?"
In this four-part 2025 Summer Camp webinar series we're focusing on next steps and possible ways to expand and maintain the good work you're doing to provide ecological services to your community through land stewardship. This series is brought to you in a partnership between Michael Fields Agricultural Institute and Renewing the Countryside. Our first webinar in the series is all about establishing and taking care of pollinator habitat.
Have you planted pollinator habitat or are you curious about it? There is a lot of information about how to establish prairie habitat, but how do you care for it? In this webinar Julie Peterson, Farm Bill Biologist with Pheasants Forever will discuss care in the early years after establishment including mowing and prescribed fire. Landowner Debbie Boetcher will share her experience caring for the pollinator habitat she established. So much great information will be shared. Come ready to learn and bring your questions!
WiWiC Host:
Alanna Koshollek, Renewing the Countryside, WiWiC West Central and South West Region Coordinator
Presenters:
