MFAI joins the NEW Perennial Promise Growers Cooperative to Help Build an Equitable Market for Kernza(R)

MFAI grew 18 acres of Kernza(R) this year, a NEW perennial grain crop that grows long roots that build soil health and carbon. However, like farmers, we need to sell our grain to keep the Kernza enterprise going. The Perennial Promise Growers Cooperative is a new grower coop that will ensure equitable returns to farmers and cooperatively help to grow the movement. Watch this video, just released by Pioneer Public TV in Minnesota, about Kernza and the Perennial Promise Growers Cooperative, to learn more about how the Kernza market is growing and helping farmers, consumers, and the environment.
