Located at the Urban Ecology Center in Riverside Park.

Know your farmer. Know your food. Once a year, farmers gather at the Open House where you can meet them and learn more about their sustainable growing practices and what they have for sale. This is a free event.

Biodynamics is a cultural movement, as well as a farming practice and we want to build the social connections between people around Biodynamics. This year we are again focusing on getting to know each other on a social level. How do we continue to support one another in our Biodynamic work is a question we carry into this gathering. Large farmers to home gardeners and consumers are all encouraged to attend.

Improve, Improvise, Prosper!

Spend this winter creating or improving your CSA program from the ground up! This Course is designed for:

  • Those looking to expand their farms to incorporate a CSA enterprise
  • Those running CSAs, but who want to step back and create better plans
  • Those wanting new ways to plan, market, execute, document and evaluate their CSA enterprise
  • Those looking to network with and learn from other growers

The CSA Planning Course assumes that participants have vegetable growing experience and a general knowledge of the CSA concept. It is open and valuable to both those contemplating a CSA and those who have started a CSA program but would like to learn new planning and decision-making tools.
